Hot Topics is a special monthly event where we depart from our usual evening service and host an informal, interactive forum. Beginning with tea and coffee, our speaker for the evening will then deliver a short presentation (20-30 minutes). It’s then over to you to ask whatever questions you like!

“Nothing in biology makes sense except in the light of evolution.”
But is that true?
This illustrated talk will examine some key evidences for evolution and suggest that alternative explanations are not only possible, but may even be superior. We will also consider the question of the origin of life and ask whether creationism can provide a productive framework for the scientific investigation of physical and biological origins.
