At Wantage Baptist Church, prayer is central as we follow Jesus’ example and approach prayer with humility, trust, and a spirit of love, knowing that it connects us to God, to one another, and to the purpose He calls us to
Prayer is the heartbeat of our community, a living conversation with God that shapes our lives. On Sundays, we gather together, lifting our hearts in worship and gratitude, just as Jesus taught us to draw near to the Father. Mid-week, we come together in smaller, more intimate gatherings, seeking guidance, strength, and renewal, remembering how Jesus often withdrew to pray and reflect.
Every Wednesday afternoon at 2pm, we come together at the church to worship God and explore the Bible, delving into its timeless truths.
On the last Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm, all our groups gather together at Church to celebrate and share the living Word of God, strengthening our faith and connection with one another
However, prayer isn’t limited to these times – it flows through our daily lives whether it be business, quiet moments at home, in the midst of challenges, and in times of joy.
