Dickensian Evening is a special annual event, held in and around Wantage Market Place on the first Friday of December every year.
From 6pm until 9pm, the square in Wantage is full of all sorts of fantastic attractions and events. Most of the shops are open late, with a range of offers and treats for you to enjoy. No matter what the weather’s like, it’s a real family event.
Wantage Baptist Church opens its doors and welcomes everyone, especially those who are new to church or the area. If you are not a Christian or you’ve not been to church in a long time, we have a special gift pack for you (free of charge). Throughout the evening, tea, coffee and light refreshments will be available free of charge. In addition, we have a range of entertainment and activities for you to enjoy.
We want to introduce to Wantage Baptist Church – meet many of our members, have a tour of the building (you’ll be surprised what the inside is like!) and even request prayer.
Find out more below.
