The King’s Centre, located on King’s Walk (opposite Sainsbury’s) has been owned and operated by Wantage Baptist Church since 2008. Our goal was always to form connections into the community, showing the grace and compassion of Jesus, along with the good news of what Jesus means for humankind.
Mondays
On Monday afternoons from 1:00-3:00pm, our Men’s Chat Club provides a relaxed space for men to meet, talk, and enjoy time together. If you’d like to come along, send us a message and we’ll be happy to welcome you.
Tuesdays
On Tuesday mornings (term time), we host a short Devotional time from 9:45am. A different speaker shares a word of encouragement and challenge from the Bible, with an opportunity to discuss and prayer together afterwards.
On Tuesday afternoons, 2:15-3:00pm, our Women of Encouragement gather for a time of fellowship and sharing in faith. Tea and coffee are available.
Wednesdays
On Wednesday afternoons, 2:00-3:00pm, our Life Group gathers to study the Bible and pray together.
Fridays
Friday mornings, from 10:00am, we run a Craft Group where you can bring your own project to work on or start a new one. Stay for as long as you want; chat, laugh and share over free refreshments.
On Friday afternoons, from 1:00-4:00pm, our Friendship Group meets for coffee, chat and games.
